It fits all Ascent blenders with Interlock system (A2300i, A2500i and A3500i). The NFC chip in the base activates the matching programs via SELF-DETECT. The disc sits fixed in the base and stays there.

The Aer disc at the bottom of the container replaces classic blades with a flat disc featuring openings and paddles on the underside. As it spins, the paddles push liquid downward and pull it from above through the holes — and the rounded edges of those holes whip air into the liquid stream.

The principle: the disc doesn't break things down — it aerates. That's how whipped cream, milk foam, and hollandaise come together without steam or a hand mixer; mayonnaise emulsifies from oil and egg yolk in seconds; muddled cocktails with whole berries, herbs, and ice keep their texture and look intact.
