Direkt nach der Nutzung mit lauwarmem Wasser ausspülen. Bei fettigen oder dickflüssigen Zubereitungen zur Hälfte mit lauwarmem Wasser füllen, einen Tropfen Spülmittel zugeben und das Self-Clean-Programm starten — auf Ascent X und Pro 750 ist es vorhanden. Behälter und Deckel sind spülmaschinengeeignet. Der Behälter besteht aus Eastman Tritan und ist BPA-frei.

The 2-litre container for family-sized batches — 2 to 5 servings, with SELF-DETECT and a low-profile shape.

This is the upgrade container to the included 1.4-litre container: same controls, significantly more capacity. Its shape creates the signature Vitamix vortex and works well for smoothies, soups, frozen desserts, and family meals. The low-profile shape fits under standard upper cabinets — you don't need to move the blender off the counter to fill it.

Container and lid are made of BPA-free Eastman Tritan and are dishwasher-safe; alternatively, the container cleans itself if you blend a drop of dish soap with warm water for 35 seconds. The clear lid seals tightly and lets you watch the blending process; the removable lid plug also doubles as a 60 ml measuring cup and lets you add ingredients while the machine is running. The soft-grip handle is non-slip. A tamper is included.

Compatibility. Fits the Ascent X (X2, X5) — there, the machine recognises it automatically via SELF-DETECT and adjusts duration and program to match — as well as the Explorian E310, E320, E510, and E520, the G series (Pro 750, Pro 300), and the C series. On these machines, it's used like an ordinary container, without automatic detection. The reverse doesn't apply: a Classic container may sit on an X2 or X5, but the X base detects its container electronically — without that signal, the machine won't start. Not suitable for machines in the Ascent Interlock series A2300i, A2500i, and A3500i.
