This juice uses the whole pineapple including the core, delivering maximum nutrients without a juicer. Ready in one minute, with natural sweetness and a dense texture.

Instructions

  1. 1

Add all ingredients to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.

  2. 2

Start the blender on its lowest speed, then quickly increase to the highest speed. Use the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades.

  3. 3

Blend for 1 minute or until the desired consistency is reached.

Chef's Note

Pineapple naturally foams when blended. To reduce this, run the blender on low speed for the last 15 seconds or strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve — though this removes the plant fiber. For a thinner consistency, you can add water or coconut water. The juice can also be frozen.

The tough pineapple core that you would normally discard goes straight into the Vitamix here — the high output breaks it down completely, no juicer and no prep work needed. A standard blender would struggle with the fiber hardness of the core; in the Vitamix, a creamy whole-fruit juice with no pomace waste is ready in about a minute.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I really blend the pineapple core too?
Yes. The Vitamix fully breaks down even the hard core – no juicer and no prep needed. An immersion blender or a standard kitchen blender would fail on the fibrous toughness of the core.
How do I prevent too much foam in the pineapple juice?
Let the blender run for 15 seconds on the lowest speed at the end – this noticeably reduces the foam. Alternatively, you can pour the finished juice through a fine sieve, though this filters out some of the plant fibers.
Can I dilute the juice?
Yes. For a lighter consistency, add a little water or coconut water after blending and stir briefly. This lets you adjust the density entirely to taste.
How long does the pineapple juice keep?
It tastes best freshly blended. Well sealed in the refrigerator, it keeps for one to two days. You can also freeze the juice in portions and thaw it when needed.
Which Vitamix is suitable for whole-fruit pineapple juice?
Every Vitamix breaks down fresh pineapple, including the core. The Explorian E320 (2.0 L Low-Profile container) is well suited for larger quantities; for a single serving, the Explorian E310 with a 1.4 L container is enough.
