Vitamix 2.0 Liter Classic Container
The versatile 2-liter container in the classic Vitamix design — narrow base, tall build.
This container shipped with the following Vitamix models: Creations (2.0), TNC 5200 (Total Nutrition Center), and Pro 500 (Professional Series 500). With the Classic mount system, it fits every current Vitamix blender in the Explorian series and the Pro 750 — which makes it a popular replacement or second container.
Thanks to the narrow base with shorter blades, minimum quantities stay low: liquid blends from 250 ml, ice cream and nut butter from about 350 ml. Pesto, dips, sauces, and smoothie batches both small and large can all be prepared in the same container.
If maximum performance for green smoothies matters most, the 2.0 L Low-Profile Explorian container is the better choice — its wide base with longer blades reaches a noticeably higher blade tip speed.
The ergonomic handle with a soft-grip surface stays secure in your hand even when wet. The long tamper is included. Compatible with all Explorian blenders and the Pro 750.

FAQs
-
How do I care for the container?
Rinse with lukewarm water right after use. For thick mixes or oil: half-fill with water and 1–2 drops of dish soap, blend for 30 seconds at the highest speed, pour out, rinse. Loosen residue beneath the blades with a cleaning brush. For discoloration from leafy greens or herbs: deep clean with baking soda. The Classic container is not dishwasher-safe — hand-wash only. -
Which blenders is the container compatible with?
The 2.0 L Classic container fits the E310, E320, E510, E520, and Pro 750. Not compatible with the Ascent series (A2500i, A3500i) — Ascent uses the Interlock system with its own container geometry.
