Vitamix Classic Container 2.0 L

The 2.0-litre container in the classic Vitamix design — tall shape with a narrow base, for smoothies, pestos, dips, and sauces.

This container came included with the Creations (2.0), TNC 5200 (Total Nutrition Center), and Pro 500 (Professional Series 500) models. With the Classic system, it fits the Explorian and Professional series as well as Vitamix legacy C- and G-series machines, making it a popular replacement or second container. The ergonomic handle with a soft-grip surface stays secure in your hand even when wet.

Good to know

Container, lid, blade base, and seal are dishwasher-safe. Rinse it out with lukewarm water right after use. For thick preparations or oil: fill halfway with water and 1–2 drops of dish soap, blend on the highest speed for 30 seconds, empty, and rinse. Loosen residue under the blades with a cleaning brush, and remove discoloration from leafy greens or herbs with a basic baking soda clean.

If you value maximum performance for green smoothies, you're better off with the 2.0 L low-profile Classic container — the wide base with longer blades reaches a higher blade tip speed. The Classic container is not compatible with the Ascent Interlock series (A2500i, A3500i), which uses the Interlock system with its own container geometry, nor with the Ascent X series.

Containers purchased separately carry a 3-year manufacturer's warranty for household use; your statutory rights remain unaffected (warranty terms).
