With thick ingredients like nut butter, hummus, or nice cream, the mixture eventually gets stuck at the edge of the container — the blades then spin without catching it, and blending stalls. With the tamper, you keep guiding ingredients back to the blade while blending. Its length is matched to the 1.4 L Classic container — so it reliably reaches the blade without touching it.

You need the short tamper if you use the 1.4 L Classic container — this container is compatible with all Explorian blenders (E310, E320, E510, E520) and the Pro 750. The 2.0 L Classic container needs the long tamper, and the 2.0 L low-profile Classic container needs the medium one.

Hand-washing is recommended for cleaning.
