The 2.0 L low-profile container with its wide base and long blade wings delivers the creamiest green smoothie consistency currently available in the Vitamix range. The control panel is deliberately pared back: motor, dial, pulse function — no preset programs, no display. You control speed and running time yourself, from level 1 to 10. The low-profile container lets the blender stay permanently under the kitchen cabinets, and there is a 7-year manufacturer's warranty for private use.

How you operate it

No display lighting up at you, no program deciding for you — with the E320, everything is in your hands. You switch the blender on with the rocker switch on the right and adjust the speed steplessly from 1 to 10 using the dial in the centre. The Pulse switch on the left gives you short bursts for as long as you hold it. Direct, honest, manual — the way you blend when you know what you're doing.

Vitamix 2.0 litre low-profile container Explorian

The wide 2.0 L low-profile container is designed for 2–4 portions and is suited to family smoothies or batch preparation. From 500 ml of liquid upwards the vortex works reliably; for ice cream and nicecream you should allow for 800 ml. The long blade wings and the wide base create a strong vortex that draws ingredients from the container wall back to the centre of the blade and breaks down leafy greens evenly. Classic containers work without automatic detection: you select the program or running time manually.
