Fresh pineapple, red bell pepper, and jalapeño make a versatile salsa with a tropical note. The texture is precisely controlled by pulsing in the Vitamix — from coarsely chopped to finely puréed.

    Add all ingredients to the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure the lid.

    Select speed 3. Pulse 10 to 20 times, using the tamper to push ingredients toward the blades, until the desired consistency is reached.

Chef's Note

Pulsing in the Vitamix container preserves the texture and prevents an overly liquid consistency. You can control the heat by adjusting the amount of jalapeño seeds. The salsa also works as a topping for tacos or grilled chicken.
