Vitamix Pro 750
Five preset programs with tactile controls.
The Pro 750 is the Vitamix for anyone who wants the convenience of preset programs but prefers to work with a variable speed dial and toggle switches instead of a touchscreen. Dial in the center, two toggle switches left and right, a true power switch with a splash guard — controls that work reliably even with damp or floury hands. The pulse function runs at whatever speed you've selected on the dial — so you can break down solid ingredients deliberately or portion frozen fruit without going full throttle from the start.
The five preset programs cover Smoothies, Frozen Desserts, Hot Soups, Purée, and Self-Cleaning; for everything in between, you have the variable speed control and the pulse function at hand. 7-year manufacturer warranty for household use.

Which containers fit the Vitamix Pro 750?
The Vitamix Pro 750 uses the Classic mount system. The 2.0 L Low-Profile Classic container is included. Additional compatible containers: the 2.0 L Classic container (tall), the 1.4 L Classic container, and the Aer Disc container Classic. Interlock containers from the Ascent series are not compatible with the Pro 750. -
What sets the Vitamix Pro 750 apart from the Ascent series (A2500i, A3500i)?
All three blenders have a 1,200–1,400 W motor. The difference lies in the container system, programs, and warranty: the Pro 750 uses Classic containers (no SELF-DETECT, no Interlock lid detection) and has five preset programs; it carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty for household use. The Ascent series uses the Interlock container system with SELF-DETECT; the A2500i carries a 10-year warranty with three programs, the A3500i a 10-year warranty with five programs and a touchscreen. -
What is the minimum blending quantity for the Vitamix Pro 750?
In the included 2.0 L Low-Profile Classic container, the minimum quantity is approximately 500 ml for liquid preparations and approximately 800 ml for thick mixtures such as smoothies with frozen fruit. In the 1.4 L Classic container (sold separately), the minimum is approximately 250 ml for liquids. -
How hot can ingredients be in the Vitamix Pro 750?
The Classic containers are made from Tritan and are heat-resistant up to 100 °C. At higher temperatures, the material may warp. Hot soups are prepared by blending cold or lukewarm ingredients and heating them through friction — the Vitamix Pro 750 reaches temperatures of up to 80 °C in approximately 6 minutes at the highest speed setting. -
Can I grind grains or coffee with the Vitamix Pro 750?
Grinding is only partially practical in the included 2.0 L Low-Profile Classic container — it is fitted with wet blades and is not optimized for dry grinding. For regular grinding of grains, coffee, or spices, the separately available Aer Disc container Classic or a dedicated dry-grinding container is recommended. The 1.4 L Classic container (sold separately) with its smaller footprint delivers slightly better results for small quantities. -
How do I clean the Vitamix Pro 750?
The easiest method is the Self-Cleaning program: fill the container halfway with lukewarm water, add 1–2 drops of dish soap, and press the Self-Cleaning button — the cycle runs for about 60 seconds. Rinse the container afterwards. The Classic containers are dishwasher-safe; Vitamix recommends hand-washing to protect the Tritan material and blades. Wipe the motor base and rubber mat on top with a damp cloth. -
Are the containers of the Vitamix Pro 750 dishwasher-safe?
Yes, the Classic containers are dishwasher-safe. However, Vitamix recommends hand-washing to protect the Tritan material and the blade assembly from long-term wear. The lid and lid plug are also hand-wash only. -
What safety guidelines apply to the Vitamix Pro 750?
The Vitamix Pro 750 shuts off automatically when it overheats and cools down before restarting — this only occurs with very thick preparations such as dough. Use the tamper only with the lid fully seated. Before cleaning, unplug the blender and never submerge it in water.
